Jack Burtchaell brings WCT members on tour
We had a wonderful evening with Jack Burtchaell on Tuesday, 7th April. We started with a talk on the history of Waterford and followed with a tour of Barronstrand Street, Conduit Land, High Street, Cathedral Square and around to Reginalds Tower.
We are so fortunate with our rich heritage and the marvelous work done by the Viking Triangle Trust, the City Council, the Museum and our own members to mention a few in developing and preserving our environment. Much more needs to be done, but this evening was about enjoying our beautiful city.
Many thanks to Jack, with his extensive knowledge and what a raconteur. This walk is a must do for all of us and our visitors.
