Ireland’s Largest Piggy Bank?

Waterford Civic Trust, with the permission of Waterford City Council, has put in place the largest money box in Ireland. The money box is a disused navigational buoy from the River Suir that has been decorated with a humorous frieze depicting the medieval town walls and historic characters associated with the city’s history.

Donations are used towaqrds the running costs of Waterford Civic Trust and heritage projects.
