Interested in getting involved in Waterford Civic Trust, you can
do so in three fantastic ways by joining as a member, as a
corporate member or as a volunteer and help Waterford Civic Trust to:

  • Make Waterford more attractive to invest, work and live in.

  • Preserve Waterford’s architectural heritage

  • Make Waterford more attractive to sustainable investment

  • Enhance the built environment

  • Raise public awareness of heritage issues​​

Join as a Member of Waterford Civic Trust

As a member you will contribute to the preservation and enrichment of our heritage in Waterford. The Waterford Civic Trust actively engages in heritage projects as well as promoting historic events and people. You can find out more about the Trust by looking up 'About Us'

The membership fee is a modest 25 euro annually and this contribution goes to meet the running costs of the Trust. We would value your input and opinion as we actively seek to support Waterford's rich and diverse heritage.

We have several events during the year and would welcome your active participation. You will be notified by email and the information will also be on the website. These events are often associated with blue plaques or may be a walking tour.

Waterford Civic Trust is a Registered Charity CHY 10881 with the Revenue Commissioners. The trust has been approved as an eligible charity for the purposes of Section 486A of the Taxes Consolidation Act

Volunteer for a Waterford Civic Trust Project


As a volunteer you will positively contribute to the conservation, preservation and enrichment of our heritage in Waterford. The Waterford Civic Trust undertakes a number of projects each year and we need your help with this work. If you would like to know more about us, our current and proposed projects and how you can contribute, please click the relevant buttons below.


You do not have to be a member in order to volunteer,
but you are welcome to do so, if you wish.


How do I volunteer?

You can volunteer as follows;
